How to Use the Syntix TTS Tool
- Type or paste text in the textarea. Multi-line supported.
- Select a voice from the dropdown. Male, female, and color-coded options available. Favorites can be starred.
- Search voices using the search box in the dropdown.
- Sliders: Adjust speed, pitch, and volume live.
- Playback buttons: Speak, pause, resume, stop.
- Progress: See reading progress via the green bar.
- Preview voice: Click 🔊 next to a voice to hear a sample.
- Favorites: Click ★ to add/remove favorite voices. Favorites appear first in the list.
- Dark/Light mode: Toggle using the button below the controls.
- Clear: Clears the textarea.
- Export WAV: Save your speech as WAV if the browser supports it.
- Keyboard: Use arrow keys to navigate dropdowns, Enter to select.
- Persistent settings: Your last voice, sliders, favorites, and dark mode are saved automatically.
Tip: Lines are read one by one. Empty lines are skipped. Try multiple voices and explore the stars, preview, and queue features for full experience!
